Frangelico Affogato Recipe

You will need:

Vanilla Ice Cream

Hazelnuts

Honeycomb Toffee

Strawberries

Espresso Coffee

Frangelico

How to Make MoutWatering Frangelico Affogato with Honeycomb Toffee.

First, make the HoneyComb Toffee:

Grease slice tin with butter and set aside. In a saucepan, place 1/4 cup of golden syrup, 1 cup of white sugar, and 3 tbs of water and heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring concoction to boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from the heat and add 2 tsp of bicarbonate soda. Mix quickly. Pour hot mixture into the slice tin and leave to cool. Cut with a sharp knife into pieces once set.

Place a scoop of Vanilla ice cream into a bowl. Pour Frangelico in a shot glass. Pour Coffee Espresso in an Espresso glass. Put the ice cream bowl and shot glasses on a big plate. Decorate with strawberries, hazelnuts, and Honeycomb toffee. 

To serve: Pour the Frangelico and Coffee over the Ice Cream.
