Crochet Penguin Hook Holder Pattern

Row 1. Ch 7, turn, 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook, 1 tr in next 4 ch, turn. (5-tr group made)
Row 2. Ch 7, 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook, 1 tr in next 4 ch, sk 4 tr on the previous 5-tr group, ch 1, 1 sl st in next st, sl st to bottom of st.
Row 3. Ch 7, 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook, 1 tr in next 4 ch, sk 4 tr on the previous 5-tr group, ch 1, 1 sl st in next st, crochet 2 tr down same st.
You now have 3 x 5-tr groups.
Row 4. Dc in next st, 4 dc up last st of 5-tr group, dc in next st, 2 dc up next dc, dc in next st, 4 dc up next st, dc in next st, sl st i next st.
Row 5 – 6: Dc in each dc around.
Row 7. (2 dc tog, dc in next 2 dc) rep around.
Row 8. (2 dc tog, dc in next dc) rep around.
Fill in the stuffing.
Crochet head of penguin.
Row 9. (2 dc in each dc) rep around.
Row 10. Dc in each dc around.
Row 11. (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) rep around.
Row 12-18: Dc in sc around.
Row 19: (Dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc tog) rep around.
Row 20: Dc in dc around.
Row 21. Rep row 19 + 20.
Row 22. (2 dc tog, dc in next dc) rep around.
Row 23. Dc in dc. Fill i the stuffing.
Row 24. 2 dc tog until the hole is closed. Fasten off.
Crochet penguin feet.
Reattach yarn at 1st of 5-tr group either side from round 1.
Dc in next 4 tr, 4 dc up next tr, 1 dc in next 4 tr, sl st in next st. Fasten off. Repeat the other side.
Repeat the same process the other side. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Make crochet flippers (wings)
Attach double yarn 2 rows above feet with sl st. Dc in next 2 sts, turn, dc in dc, turn, dc in dc.
Repeat the same process the other side.
Attach Hair as picture shows. Make 4 each side (8 all up). Attach 4 strings of green yarn each side with pink chunky yarn.
With white curly yarn crochet 4 chs.
Row 1. ch 4, turn, dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next 2 ch, turn.
Row 2. Sk 1 dc, dc in next dc, turn.
Row 3. Dc in dc. Fasten off. Stitch to face.
With black yarn and a sewing needle, stitch around the eyes, and stitch pupils.
With multi-colored yarn: ch 7, 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 dc in each ch to end.
Row 1. ch 7, 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook, 1 tr in each ch to end. Turn.
Row 2. 1 tr in each tr to end. Turn.
Row 3 -24. Repeat 1 tr in each tr. Fold in half. Twist and fold twice around penguin’s neck. Tie the scarf in front. Attach blue yarn to make fringes on the scarf using slip stitches in row 1 and row 24.
Between eyes attach red yarn with sl st. 4 dc between eyes. Turn. Ch 1, 1 dc in turning dc, 1 dc in next 3 dc. Turn.
Row 2. Ch 1, dc in 4 dc. Repeat 7 rows. Sk 2 rows on penguins face. Sl st in next row. Sl st across beak. Sl st beak in next dc on penguin’s head.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
